Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of import/export shipments to ensure timely processing.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, manifests, and airway bills accurately.
- Liaise effectively with airline staff, customs authorities, and logistics partners.
- Monitor cargo storage and handling to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Conduct physical inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Update internal systems with real-time tracking information to maintain operational visibility.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues arising during the cargo handling process.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to commit to a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Willingness to work in the East region (Changi/Airport area).
