Responsibilities
- Respond immediately to emergency calls, including aircraft incidents, medical emergencies, and structural fires within the airport vicinity.
- Conduct regular patrols and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with aviation fire safety regulations.
- Operate specialized emergency vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are maintained in a state of operational readiness at all times.
- Provide critical pre-hospital medical assistance to passengers and staff during emergency incidents.
- Execute complex evacuation procedures and crowd control measures during crisis scenarios.
- Participate in intensive simulation training exercises to sharpen response times and decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders, air traffic control, and external government agencies during large-scale emergency operations.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma or GCE 'A' Levels/ITE certification with relevant experience.
- Must meet physical fitness standards as required for specialized emergency response roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under extreme pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to perform rotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must have normal color vision and high level of physical dexterity.
- Prior experience in civil defense, military, or emergency medical services is highly advantageous.
