We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Engineer to join our team in Woodlands, North Region. As an integral part of our engineering division at Private Advertiser, you will support senior engineers in the planning, execution, and maintenance of various engineering projects. Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering systems and components.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and work orders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support to technicians and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in an engineering or maintenance role.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is an added advantage.
