Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 emergency technical response and on-site support for vehicle breakdowns.
  • Perform rapid on-site diagnostics using advanced electronic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Execute minor repairs and recovery procedures to restore vehicle functionality safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and workshop teams to manage vehicle towing and scheduling for major repairs.
  • Maintain and manage emergency response equipment, ensuring all tools are calibrated and ready for deployment.
  • Liaise directly with customers to provide clear technical explanations and reassure them during service incidents.
  • Document all service calls, diagnostics, and repairs accurately in the company’s internal tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations during field operations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Nitec in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive technical support, breakdown services, or vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems; prior experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) is highly advantageous.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (Class 4 is a plus) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call standby duties.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under pressure in outdoor environments.
