A'Famosa Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant F&B Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team in Alor Gajah, Melaka. As an Assistant F&B Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen, service, and back-of-house teams. You will support the F&B Director in implementing operational standards, managing inventory, and maintaining quality control across all outlets.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality excellence. You will be responsible for training and motivating team members, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse F&B operations within a thriving resort and entertainment complex.
Responsibilities
- Support daily F&B operations and ensure smooth workflow across all food and beverage outlets
- Supervise and coach team members to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage stock requisitions
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for F&B department
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to enhance dining experience
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation
- Support scheduling, staff performance evaluations, and training programs
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management systems and point-of-sale operations
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP standards
- Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or entertainment venue is advantageous
