Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple programmes under the National Robotics Programme (NRP).
  • Develop and maintain programme schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of objectives.
  • Collaborate with research institutes, industry partners, and government agencies to align programme goals and foster synergies.
  • Track programme performance, prepare regular status reports, and present updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Identify risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary to ensure programme success.
  • Support strategic initiatives to catalyse robotics capabilities and grow Singapore's robotics ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of programme activities.
  • Assist in drafting policies, guidelines, and documentation related to programme management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in programme management, project management, or related roles, preferably in research, technology, or government settings.
  • Strong understanding of the research and development landscape, particularly in robotics or emerging technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, PMP, or PRINCE2.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex interdisciplinary projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
