PT ECO KARTON NUSANTARA, a leading company in the paper and packaging industry, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant (Mandarin Speaker) to support our Director in ensuring smooth daily operations. This is a contract position based in North Jakarta, offering a competitive salary package of IDR 7,000,000 – 10,000,000 per month.
As the right hand of the Director, you will play a key role in facilitating communication, managing schedules, coordinating internal and external meetings, and handling administrative tasks. Fluency in Mandarin is essential as you will be liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translating documents. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Act as a translator and interpreter for Mandarin and Indonesian/English communications, both written and verbal.
- Prepare, translate, and review business documents, reports, and presentations in Mandarin and Indonesian/English.
- Coordinate and follow up on internal and external projects to ensure timely completion and operational efficiency.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, prioritize emails, and handle phone calls with professionalism.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and confidential documents in an orderly manner.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and government agencies as needed, representing the Director's office.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks related to company operations and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in any relevant field.
- Proficient in Mandarin (both spoken and written) – HSK 4 or equivalent preferred; ability to translate between Mandarin and Indonesian/English.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willing to work on a contract basis and located in or willing to commute to North Jakarta.
