BEDC Limited is seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will support our senior quantity surveying professionals in delivering accurate cost estimates and comprehensive project documentation for construction and engineering projects.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in preparing and coordinating precise cost estimates in accordance with the Company's estimating guidelines. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate accurate cost estimates following the Company's estimating guidelines and industry standards
- Assist in conducting quantity take-offs and measurements from construction drawings and specifications
- Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost control documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve cost-related issues and provide technical guidance
- Monitor project costs and track expenditures against budget allocations
- Prepare cost reports and variance analysis for management review
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and cost records
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors to obtain quotations and verify pricing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical course
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation (fresh graduates with relevant internships may apply)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and standard measurement methods
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn and contribute to team success
