Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of high-rise and complex building projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Serve as the technical authority and role model for the structural team, providing guidance on complex engineering issues.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders to secure new business and enhance Ramboll's reputation.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Contribute to the development of design standards, best practices, and quality assurance procedures.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices to drive innovation in projects.
- Represent Ramboll in professional forums and industry events as a thought leader.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with relevant structural engineering registration in Singapore.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on high-rise and complex buildings.
- Proven track record of leading the structural design of large-scale, complex projects from concept to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE) and building codes (e.g., BS, Eurocodes, Singapore Code of Practice).
- Strong business acumen and experience in project management, including budget and schedule management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and innovative design approaches.
