Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys for new and existing 4G LTE cell sites to ensure proper infrastructure and coverage.
- Perform field testing, drive testing, and network optimization to enhance signal quality and data throughput.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RF interference and propagation issues to minimize dropped calls and improve user experience.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and construction crews, to manage project milestones and timelines effectively.
- Analyze network performance data and generate detailed reports to support technical decision-making and capacity planning.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with local telecommunications regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment, including antennas and transmission links.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, RF engineering, or network optimization.
- Strong understanding of 4G LTE technology, RF propagation, and network architecture.
- Familiarity with drive testing tools and network optimization software (e.g., TEMS, Atoll, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in field environments.
- Strong communication and project coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel to various site locations and work outdoors as required.
