Responsibilities
- Create precise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate conceptual designs into detailed drafts.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and material take-offs from drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on project feedback and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, and industry regulations.
- Assist in site surveys and measurements to gather data for accurate drafting.
- Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for all project drawings.
Qualifications
- Possess at least a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in electrical drafting is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D). Experience with other drafting software (e.g., Revit, BIM, SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and standard drafting symbols.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
