Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks
- Assist senior technicians in complex repairs such as engine overhauls and transmission work
- Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot system faults
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Keep workshop tools and equipment clean and properly organized
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or hands-on experience is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Valid driver's license (Class 3 or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
