Job Overview
Certis Security is seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals to join our team as Auxiliary Police Officers (APO). In this role you will support the Singapore Police Force in maintaining public safety, enforcing law and order, and providing security for government and public events. This is a full‑time, permanent position based in the Central Region of Singapore.
You will receive a competitive monthly salary of up to $5,279 and a substantial $45,000 joining bonus upon successful completion of training. Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned zones and monitor CCTV systems to deter crime and ensure public safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance from the public and law‑enforcement agencies.
- Conduct crowd control and safety checks at large‑scale events, government venues, and high‑traffic areas.
- Enforce minor regulations, issue summons for infringements, and report violations to senior officers.
- Participate in joint operations with the Singapore Police Force and other emergency services.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, daily activity logs, and operational reports.
- Provide security briefings and training to junior staff and auxiliary personnel.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and ethical conduct.
What We Look For
- Singapore citizen with a clean criminal record and minimum age of 21.
- Possession of at least GCE ‘N’ level or equivalent qualifications.
- Physically fit and able to pass a fitness assessment (including a 2.4 km run, sit‑ups, and push‑ups).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Prior experience in security, law‑enforcement, or military service is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Good judgment, composure under pressure, and a service‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to undergo the mandatory APO training programme and certification.
