Responsibilities
- Prepare and review balance sheet reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Generate statistical reports and performance metrics to support asset management strategies and business decisionâmaking.
- Collaborate with finance, risk, and technology teams to streamline data collection processes and improve reporting timelines.
- Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks, incorporating automation tools and best practices to increase efficiency.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting requirements, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Perform variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and provide clear explanations to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and detailed explanations of reporting methodologies.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing within the team to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3â5 years of experience in financial reporting, balance sheet management, or asset management reporting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, local accounting standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar ERP platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to analyze large datasets, derive insights, and present findings clearly to both technical and nonâtechnical audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
