Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Ensure coffee station cleanliness, sanitation, and operational readiness throughout shifts
- Process customer orders efficiently using POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies while minimizing waste
- Provide personalized beverage recommendations and educate customers on coffee origins
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for seamless multi-department operations
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and Hill House's service excellence standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience in hospitality preferred
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to create positive customer interactions
- Strong attention to detail in beverage preparation and station maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory management
