Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, and specialty brews, with consistent quality.
- Perform intricate latte art to enhance beverage presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and offering menu recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate and calibrate espresso machines and grinders daily to ensure optimal extraction.
- Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, reporting needs to management.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently using the POS system.
- Collaborate effectively with the service team to ensure a seamless flow of operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a reputable cafe or high-traffic hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and various brewing techniques.
- Proficiency in latte art and manual espresso machine operation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably in English with international tourists.
- High level of discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during busy shifts.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and public holidays.
