Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with consistent quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing menu recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, counter, and seating area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, reporting needs to management.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members.
- Learn and adapt to new menu items, specials, and operational procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a fast-paced café or hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, latte art, and various brew methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
