Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Create beautiful and consistent latte art to enhance the visual appeal and customer experience of every cup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including routine cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers).
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately, providing recommendations, and resolving any issues professionally to ensure a memorable experience.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service flow and a seamless guest journey.
- Stay updated on coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and product knowledge to continuously improve the beverage program.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a busy, high-volume café or hospitality environment (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, grinding methods, and various brewing techniques (espresso, pour-over, French press, etc.).
- Excellent latte art skills are highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English are required; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak hours.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and providing outstanding customer service.
- Valid work authorization for Indonesia (KITAS/KITAP preferred, but open to local candidates).
