Key responsibilities include preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels, operating the cash register, assisting with inventory management, and supporting the manager in opening and closing procedures. You will also be responsible for upselling products, engaging with customers to ensure a warm welcome, and adhering to health and safety standards.
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience as a Barista (preferred but not required), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays. A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
- Assist the store manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Upsell products and promote menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task efficiently.
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about brewing techniques.
- Team player with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
