Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty seasonal offerings.
- Operate professional coffee equipment, including grinders and espresso machines, with precision and care.
- Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations and ensure a positive in-store experience.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at the beverage preparation station and dining areas.
- Handle cash and digital transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Manage inventory levels and restock beverage ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Follow all company SOPs regarding safety, food handling, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Strong passion for coffee culture and a desire to learn about specialty brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering top-tier customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Energetic, reliable, and able to work effectively in a high-traffic retail environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
