Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a wide variety of classic and innovative cocktails, spirits, and beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to guests, including making recommendations, upselling premium items, and handling special requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately, process payments, and manage tabs efficiently.
- Develop new and exciting cocktail recipes to refresh the menu seasonally and keep offerings competitive in the Bali market.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure a seamless overall guest experience.
- Monitor guest consumption and enforce responsible service of alcohol policies diligently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or hotel environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail trends, spirits, wines, and beer.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Russian) is a significant advantage.
- Must be highly responsible, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Relevant hospitality or bartending certification (e.g., BAS, IBM) is highly desirable.
- Having an existing network within Bali's hospitality industry or experience in a tourist destination is a plus.
