Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with restocking and ordering.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following payment procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist in developing new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink specials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., SIA, WSQ) or willingness to obtain.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Creativity and passion for mixology with an eye for presentation.
