Responsibilities
- Operate and control RMC batching plant machinery to produce concrete per specifications
- Monitor material proportions, mixing cycles, and output quality in real-time
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Enforce strict safety protocols and environmental compliance measures
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely concrete dispatch and delivery
- Maintain accurate production logs and quality control documentation
- Collaborate with quality assurance team to conduct concrete slump tests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational certificate in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in concrete plant operations
- Valid heavy equipment operation certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of concrete mix designs and material properties
- Ability to read technical blueprints and production schedules
- Proficiency in basic plant maintenance and calibration procedures
- OSHA safety certification or equivalent industrial safety training
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
