In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our construction projects, ensuring precision, efficiency, and excellence through advanced modeling and design coordination.
As our BIM Coordinator, you will act as the technical bridge between design and construction, utilizing your expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-quality construction and coordination drawings. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and site engineers to resolve design conflicts before they reach the construction phase, minimizing waste and optimizing project timelines. Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain complex Building Information Models (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and update detailed construction drawings, coordination drawings, and comprehensive as-built documentation.
- Perform interdisciplinary clash detection and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with company standards, client requirements, and local building codes.
- Attend design and construction coordination meetings to provide technical insights and updates.
- Monitor and manage the quality control process for all digital submittals.
- Collaborate with the CAD team to ensure design integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in BIM coordination or similar construction technical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, workflows, and industry standards.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Navisworks or similar BIM coordination software is highly preferred.
