BIM Drafter (M&E)

Allied Search Pte. Ltd. is a leading recruitment consultancy specializing in engineering and construction placements across Singapore. Due to increasing demand for high‑quality BIM deliverables on flagship developments, we are looking for a meticulous BIM Drafter (M&E) to support our clients' mechanical and electrical design teams based in the Central Region.

In this role you will be responsible for producing coordinated BIM models and detailed drawings that meet industry standards and project specifications. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary consultants, you will ensure the seamless integration of M&E systems within the overall building information model, helping to reduce clashes and improve construction efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Interpret design intent, technical drawings, and specifications to produce construction‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other trades to perform clash detection and resolve conflicts.
• Participate in model review sessions and provide recommendations for design improvements and standardisation.
• Produce detailed plans, sections, and schedules; update drawings and models to reflect design changes.
• Maintain project libraries, templates, and BIM execution plans to ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Assist in the development of BIM protocols and best‑practice guidelines for the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in BIM drafting for M&E systems, preferably on commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of BIM workflows (LOD 300‑500).
• Familiarity with Singapore’s CBPS, BCA, and URA codes is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to continually learn and adopt emerging BIM technologies.
