Job Description
Join Private Advertiser as a BIM Modeller and play a key role within our VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) team. You will create and update BIM models, produce construction drawings, and manage clash detection to ensure quality and timely submissions for project milestones in Singapore's West Region. This role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, and suppliers to coordinate multi-discipline models, ensure model accuracy, and support project delivery across all design and construction phases.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models (primarily using Revit), performing clash detection with Navisworks, generating 2D drawings and As-Built updates, conducting quality checks against project standards, and ensuring timely submission of deliverables. You will support the VDC team in model coordination, model audits, and data exchange between consultants and contractors, ensuring clarity and traceability of model changes while adhering to BIM execution plans and company standards.
To succeed, you should have strong attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills, and a solid understanding of BIM workflows, LOD requirements, and clash resolution processes. Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and maintenance of accurate BIM models (Revit) for assigned projects, ensuring consistency with project standards.
- Perform clash detection and coordination meetings with MEP and structural teams to resolve conflicts early.
- Produce high-quality 2D drawings and construction documentation from BIM data for submission to clients and authorities.
- Validate model data, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with BIM execution plans and standards.
- Support data exchanges between consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring traceability of changes.
- Assist in model audits, as-built updates, and documentation in accordance with project milestones.
- Collaborate with the VDC team to maintain schedule integrity and contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; BIM certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; experience with other BIM tools is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on BIM modelling experience in construction or MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, LOD concepts, and clash resolution processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
