Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS Level curricula
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student engagement and learning
- Prepare students for Cambridge examinations through targeted instruction and practice
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Manage classroom effectively to create a positive and productive learning environment
- Organize and supervise laboratory experiments and practical activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and teaching resources
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and academic performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching Biology in Cambridge curriculum (Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS)
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage diverse learners
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for practical, hands-on science education
- Ability to create stimulating lesson plans that incorporate technology and experiments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
