We are looking for a charismatic Board Game Guru / Service Staff to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests, explain cafe rules, and introduce the board game library.
- Recommend and teach board games to individuals and groups of all skill levels.
- Take food and beverage orders, serve items, and ensure a clean, inviting environment.
- Assist in organizing and hosting game events, tournaments, and themed nights.
- Maintain and organize the game inventory, checking for missing pieces and cleanliness.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests with a positive attitude.
- Support daily cafe operations, including opening/closing tasks and stock management.
Qualifications
- Passion for board games and a willingness to learn new games quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
- Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a board game cafe is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and available for part-time shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Minimum age 18 (due to service of food and beverages).
