Ultimate Control Engineering S/B is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of critical building Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems. We are looking for a proactive professional who can handle on-site challenges with technical precision and reliability.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the upkeep of building infrastructure, ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards. You will attend regular site meetings to align with project goals and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) equipment problems efficiently.
- Attend site meetings to discuss project updates, technical requirements, and client needs.
- Perform preventive general maintenance work for building infrastructure to ensure longevity of systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC units, electrical panels, and building systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local safety regulations and industry standards.
- Document all maintenance logs, repair reports, and service history accurately.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to implement technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience as a technician or in building maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently in various site locations throughout Johor.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
