Responsibilities
- Design, document, and continuously improve business processes to align with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement internal controls that mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Perform segregationâofâduties (SOD) analysis to ensure proper assignment of responsibilities and prevent conflicts of interest.
- Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and work instructions using industryâstandard methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
- Prepare and present detailed reports, KPI dashboards, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and operational teams to drive automation and bestâpractice adoption.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, mining standards, and company policies through regular audits and monitoring.
- Train and mentor staff on process standards, control procedures, and regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business process management, internal controls, or compliance.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., COSO, SOX) is a plus.
- Familiarity with mining industry operations and relevant government regulations.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Must be detailâoriented and capable of working under pressure.
