You will collaborate closely with our sales and engineering teams to translate client requirements into functional kitchen designs, ensuring optimal workflow, compliance with safety standards, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings and layouts for commercial kitchen projects.
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to gather site specifications and operational requirements.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and equipment specifications for tender documents.
- Review architectural drawings to ensure equipment placement adheres to plumbing, electrical, and gas ventilation standards.
- Maintain and organize a comprehensive library of kitchen equipment blocks and design templates.
- Perform on-site measurements and technical surveys as required for renovation or new installation projects.
- Collaborate with the fabrication and installation teams to troubleshoot design-related challenges during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in CAD design, specifically in kitchen layout planning or interior fit-outs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of commercial kitchen workflows, food safety regulations, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to technical detail.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural blueprints and structural plans.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
