STENZO PTE LTD is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team in the West Region. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our acoustic wall panel designs, sheetmetal fabrication projects, and modular product development.
We are looking for a creative thinker who can translate conceptual designs into accurate technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with our senior engineers to refine fabrication drawings, ensure manufacturing feasibility, and maintain the highest standards of technical excellence. Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify detailed technical drawings for acoustic wall panels and modular furniture systems.
- Create accurate 2D/3D models and blueprints for sheetmetal fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure all designs adhere to manufacturing specifications and safety standards.
- Perform revisions to technical drawings based on engineering feedback and field measurements.
- Manage documentation, maintain drawing archives, and update bill of materials (BOM) for ongoing projects.
- Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and support installation planning when required.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet strict deadlines and organizational quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in CAD drafting, preferably in sheetmetal, acoustics, or modular construction.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot design-related challenges independently.
