Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and shop drawings based on engineering specifications.
- Revise and update existing drawings to incorporate field changes or client requests.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure drawings are constructible and aligned with project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and assist in material estimation for project planning.
- Ensure all technical documentation adheres to company standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Maintain an organized digital library of project drawings and technical documentation.
- Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and updates on design progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a CAD Operator or Drafting role within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, symbols, and technical drawing standards.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
