Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and prompt service to all customers, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and process payments via the POS system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items according to cafe standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area, counter, and service stations.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining a neat, professional appearance.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks related to cafe operations.
- Valid Food Safety Course certification is an added advantage.
