Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cafe operations and ensure smooth workflow across service areas
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the management for supplies and inventory
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Train new staff on service procedures and brand standards
- Conduct shift briefings and coordinate staff schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the hospitality or food & beverage industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering memorable experiences
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts
- Experience in handling cash transactions and POS systems
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
