Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of electrical, electronic, and mechanical instruments according to established procedures and standards.
- Maintain and document calibration records, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other quality management systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair non-conforming equipment to restore accuracy and functionality.
- Develop and update calibration procedures and schedules for laboratory and production equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues and improve processes.
- Manage calibration standards and reference materials, including maintaining proper storage and handling.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external assessments as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians on calibration methods and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a quality assurance laboratory environment.
- Certification in calibration (e.g., ASQ CCT, NCSLI) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of measurement principles, uncertainty analysis, and traceability.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Proficient in using calibration software and data analysis tools (e.g., Fluke MET/TRACK, Beamex, or equivalent).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
