Responsibilities

  • Process cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments accurately at the café counter.
  • Greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and provide timely information about menu items.
  • Maintain the cash register, perform end‑of‑day reconciliations, and prepare daily sales reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages, snacks, and supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
  • Ensure the café area remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Support baristas and kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality and product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a cashier, receptionist, or in a customer‑service role within a café, restaurant, or hotel environment.
  • Strong numerical skills and accuracy in handling cash and electronic transactions.
