Shaka Riki, a vibrant dining destination in Bali, is seeking a motivated and detailâoriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets guests, processes payments efficiently, and ensures a smooth checkout experience. You will work closely with floor staff and management to maintain accurate financial records, uphold our high standards of service, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system and EDC machine to process guest payments accurately and promptly.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments while adhering to company cashâhandling policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and resolving any billing issues.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift and prepare daily sales reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Assist restaurant staff with order entry, menu inquiries, and special requests as needed.
- Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on promotions and menu changes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or finance coursework is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and EDC machines; quick learner for new technology.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is advantageous.
