Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the hot kitchen station, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards across all food preparation areas.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing food costs through effective waste control.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu concepts and seasonal specials.
  • Ensure that all equipment is well-maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a Senior Commis Chef in a reputable restaurant.
  • Deep understanding of diverse hot cooking techniques and international cuisine.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a kitchen brigade.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP certification preferred).
