Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Waste-to-Energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical specifications.
- Serve as the primary lead for project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, civil works, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage client relationships, acting as the key point of contact to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
- Navigate local regulatory requirements, permitting, and environmental impact assessments in Singapore and regional markets.
- Provide strategic oversight on project tenders, feasibility studies, and proposal development for upcoming infrastructure initiatives.
- Mentor project staff and ensure the integration of best practices in engineering safety and sustainable design.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in project management, specifically within Waste-to-Energy, Power Plants, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, multi-million dollar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
- Deep understanding of waste incineration technologies, gasification, or alternative waste-to-energy recovery systems.
- Proven track record in leading multicultural, multidisciplinary teams across regional boundaries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical partners and government entities.
- Professional Engineering certification or equivalent project management qualification (PMP/Prince2) is highly advantageous.
