Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mandarin language lessons for students at various grade levels.
- Develop and implement creative teaching materials and activities that enhance language acquisition and cultural awareness.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to align curriculum and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Ensure all teaching practices comply with school policies and educational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Mandarin Education, or a related field.
- Maximum age of 40 years old.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Mandarin at a school or similar educational setting.
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and student-centered lesson plans.
- Undergo and pass a thorough background check as per school requirements.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply if they meet all other criteria.
