In this role, you will be instrumental in creating precise technical drawings and design plans. You will collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure that all land development and infrastructure projects meet international quality standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate civil engineering drawings, including site plans, utility layouts, and road designs using industry-standard software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, survey data, and technical specifications to produce detailed construction documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers and consultants to identify and resolve design conflicts early in the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drafts and designs comply with local engineering codes, regional standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high levels of drafting accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain and organize electronic drawing files, ensuring version control and project documentation integrity.
- Incorporate feedback from senior team members into design revisions efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil drafting, specifically within land development or infrastructure sectors.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Civil 3D or similar BIM software is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based professional environment.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing project priorities.
