Responsibilities
- Create and revise detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- Develop site plans, grading plans, road profiles, utility layouts, and stormwater management designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to meet company and client standards.
- Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project schedules.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation of all drawings and revisions.
- Communicate effectively with team members via virtual collaboration tools.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and quantity take-offs as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Civil Drafter or similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required; knowledge of Revit or MicroStation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, land development, and infrastructure design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, surveys, and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Associate degree or certification in drafting, civil engineering technology, or related field preferred.
