Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and utility systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and reports using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and project schedules.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation for geotechnical and structural assessments.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to presentations of project findings.
- Maintain accurate project records and assist in quality assurance / quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (3rd year or higher preferred).
- Strong academic record with a focus on structural, geotechnical, or transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable urban development and infrastructure.
- Prior internship or on-the-job training experience is a plus.
