Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design calculations for various building types and infrastructure projects using relevant software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Staad.Pro).
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings in compliance with local and international building codes (e.g., NSCP).
- Collaborate effectively with architects, M&E engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior civil engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to optimize structural performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must be a Registered Civil Engineer (RCE) in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in structural analysis and design for diverse building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, Staad.Pro, SAFE, and AutoCAD. BIM software experience (e.g., Revit Structure) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine building codes (e.g., NSCP) and relevant international standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with proven experience in leading project teams.
