Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily on-site supervision for civil and structural works, ensuring strict adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Manage the end-to-end installation and erection of heavy steel structures, coordinating closely with fabrication teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain high construction standards and compliance with local BCA regulations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and sub-contractors, to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met within the Greenfield project schedule.
- Implement and enforce stringent Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
- Prepare comprehensive site progress reports, documentation, and technical submissions for project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil engineering or site supervision, specifically within Greenfield industrial projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience in managing large-scale steel structure projects and structural steel works.
- Deep understanding of Singapore construction industry standards, including Eurocodes and BCA requirements.
- Proven ability to manage sub-contractors and lead site teams effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a result-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and modern project management software.
