Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of various residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with structural designs and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals for technical accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Manage project timelines to ensure milestones are met within budget and scope constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design and project site management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian building codes and local authority regulations.
- Registered Professional Engineer (or working towards professional registration).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
