You'll engage directly with customers, assist them with their purchases, maintain the visual appeal of our store, and ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting visitors warmly and assisting them with product inquiries and selections.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop floor, including regular merchandising and stock replenishment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and pricing merchandise.
- Ensure all products are displayed attractively and accurately priced.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high operational standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, or equivalent.
- Prior experience (1-2 years) in a retail or customer service-oriented role is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed for stock management.
- Knowledge of Japanese language or culture would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
