PT. Adityaa Energy Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Coal Quality Control Specialist to join our operations team in Palembang. In this role, you will be the frontline guardian of our product integrity, ensuring that our coal shipments meet the highest industry standards and client specifications.
You will play a vital role in our supply chain, working directly at loading sites to manage sampling procedures, witness inspections, and coordinate effectively with independent surveyors and internal operations teams. Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor the entire coal loading process to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
- Perform precise coal sampling and analytical documentation according to standardized testing protocols.
- Coordinate with third-party surveyors to verify coal specifications during pre-shipment inspections.
- Maintain comprehensive daily logs and prepare accurate quality reports for the operations department.
- Monitor moisture, caloric value, and ash content levels to ensure they align with contractual requirements.
- Identify potential quality deviations during the loading process and recommend immediate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize loading schedules and minimize quality-related delays.
- Uphold and promote strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines at all times on site.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in coal quality control or laboratory analysis within the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of coal sampling methodologies and analytical testing parameters.
- Ability to interpret surveyor reports and perform basic data entry and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage professional relationships with surveyors and site staff.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of accountability.
- Willingness to work on-site in Palembang or surrounding operational areas.
- Physical fitness to work in a field mining environment.
