Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and tea beverages according to DTB standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating area, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Stock inventory of supplies, beans, cups, and condiments, and alert management when reordering is needed.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment setup and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Engage with repeat customers, remember preferences, and promote seasonal offerings to enhance sales.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate to supervisor when necessary.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tagalog.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg of supplies.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for learning about coffee brewing techniques and product knowledge.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
